I filed in VA. for my PUA week ending 6/5 through gov2go as I always have w/2 job searches but did not get paid. When I checked with the auto voice system for my status it said I do not have a claim in the system and my Pin and SS# are not valid? If my Benefit year has expired they were suppose to tell me and I had just received a reprocessed determination on 5/28 (in response to the requested proof that I was employed prior to the pandemic) that I am entitled to 74 weeks of PUA to end on 9/4/2021. I don't get what happened and how to fix it.

U can only file on the new number for PUA benefits Monday thru Friday not on Sunday I been filing on Sundays but today June 6th it says no available week weird

May 23rd, wont allow me to file via the app or by phone, app says temporarily unavailable to file claims and the phone line says I dont have weeks available or it doesn't recognize me as having any claims, says it will connect me to customer service then just hangs up on you, ive been filing weekly for months

Went to file claim and all of a sudden it said my unemployment ID is invalid. Also said my SSN was invalid. Tried to do it online and it said that the system is down. Anyone else had this issue??

BAD NEWS GUYS !!!
Starting in JUNE ...... EVERYONE will have to show proof of having applied to a least 2 JOBS A WEEK before you can file for a weekly claim..... letters are being mailed out this month that will explain how to do this........... VA is going to make it VERY hard to file your claims from JUNE --- SEPTEMBER 4th............
not everyone will be able to continue to get money

to file your weekly claim CALL ...... Monday - Friday (no holidays) from 8 am-- 4:30 pm............. (866) 835-6058.........you will need your SS number ready and your Va unemployment PIN NUMBER to file by phone....... your 6 digit pin number will be on the last piece of mail that you got from the VA employment commission

when you call by phone you will always get a confirmation number of..... ZERO........ but right before it says that it will say that you just filed your weekly claim SUSSUFULLY which means you are good to go with your weekly claim......and will get paid on the coming Wednesday or Thursday

I tried to file online at gov2go. There's no available week past 5/2-- which I filed last week, got a conf#, and it is still telling me that is my week available to file. I tried calling the number given on the PIN letter. That did not work. The number listed below by happy lady did work. It gave me a conf# of zero, but I was able to enter all the information, and it was a filing date of 5/8. The number happy lady listed was 866-835-6058.
I don't know if this worked or not, but I know my friend files through the phone and/or the app, and she's gotten a conf# of zero more than once and still gotten paid, so I'm under the assumption that it does work.

RICHMOND, Va. —
Jobless workers collecting unemployment benefits will be required to report looking for work beginning in early June.
That's according to a Tuesday announcement from the Virginia Employment Commission.
The work search requirement had been suspended during the pandemic.
The commission announced earlier this month that it would be reinstated, and on Tuesday said it would be effective the week ending .....June 5.

call this phone number and file by phone if you can not file with the app.....it works for me .... i got my payment on Thursday when I filed by phone on a sunday........... 866.832.2363 ........ then press option 1 then option 1 again then option 1 again then follow voice prompts to file ........its almost the same as the gov2go .... even if at the end of the phone call it only give you a ZERO as the confirmation number..... that is ok..... it works

I did the same by using the phone. It also hung up on me when it was telling mr my confirmation. I have not received any type of letter saying i filed or a confirmation number. Nor did my week 16 pop up on the app.
Since the app seems to be not workn at all smh. Hopefully it went thru tho. We shall see by tomorrow i will post update and let you all kno whats goin on

My week 16 claim didn't show up on my Gov2Go app yesterday either. I was able to call my claim in to VEC with the new PUA prompt and it gave me a confirmation number. Look on the monetary determination letter to see when your payment started. If you're just receiving PUA some states don't allow BYE to affect that and it continues with the extensions, but I'm unsure about Virginia. If, I don't know, they put it on their website it might help! The gov2go site was down. Most likely this all has to with that. All they would have to do is put a message on the site, but I guess that's too hard.

Where you working then or no if not what is happening its trying to get you caught up with your filing to current. But if you where working then you definitely will need to call the VEC because I don't want to tell you anything wrong. They open at 815 am and you will need to time it just right and if you get in it will put you in a cue for callback. I have had to do this way many times and they will call you back. If I get any other info I will post here for you!!!

See I was filing on the VEC line and the gov2go site every time I filed I did not know you only had to file on the gov3go site.So now when I go to the regular VEC filing where you have to put your pin in it tells me I have no more weeks. But the number above I had no issues filing for the week of 4/17.

From my understanding calling the 800 number is just for those receiving traditional unemployment and also PUA with it, not for those just getting PUA and nothing else. The gov2go site is just for PUA. If somebody is able to call them let them know that no week to file is affecting many people.

Did your benefit year end date come up? Mine did and I didn't know but it still let me file I just never got $. So I sent an email to the Winchester VEC office and that's how I found out my end date. I had to reapply for the initial unemployment.
