I've been able to set up reservations and do returns. Just have to put the return on hold at the payment portion. I'll go back when the system is up and run the payments. Really odd...I was able to take a payment for a packing materials sale.

If I were a Uhaul or Amerco stock holder, I would sell quickly. Bizarre that a company that size is totally dependent on the internet/ business software to operate. they should design their offices to look like a cave.

im uhaul dealer in kasnas city mo. the system is down since i opened up the store 9am. if you are dropping off equipment. just drop keys in drop box whenever our system comes back on will be able to return, make reservations and all. if you are dropping off a trailer,find a parking spot park, take pictures of it and you should be good to go. hoping system comes back on tonight. its really frustrating even for us dealers. it shouldnt take this long, we had system shut down before but usually it would get fixed within an hour or 2

Same here. Could not even reach any local dealers. One in Grand Forks, ND was supposed to be open until 5pm CST and call wouldn't go through. I could not pick up my truck for my move today

Since everything is down I drove to the Uhaul store, they were able to give me reservations but they can't guarantee that I will get a truck tomorrow. So I know just have to wait. If I cant this truck I'm going to lose a bunch of money. I sit and wait.

Very irritated. We are broke down out of state. Need the truck and trailer we reserved to get back home. System has been down since around 10 am. Vendor is unable to release the truck and trailer due to the system being down. Costing me more money

. I have kids and a job to get back to.

Just left the Jimmy Carter location. System is down. Website is down. Does someone know why, or for how long they're expecting it to be down? When did it shut down? What can we do if we had a reservation?

There's a power outage in phoenix az where the uhaul headquarters are. All servers are down and nothing on the site can be reached. We cannot reach them by phone either. Power is out until 4pm, and then servers may need service-unsure. So they'll be down till AT LEAST 4pm today. You can go directly to the Uhaul dealer you were supposed to pick up from and they MAY be able to do a paper contract. Some locations can and some can't.

Very disrespectful to custumers who prepay then show up for their rental to be told "I can't do anything to help you". The representative acts as if the sytem being down is okay after you wasted your time, and gas to go their for incompetent organizational planning. Just come back later he says.

If the dealer is open they should be able to complete a manual contract for you, albeit it may take up to 20 minutes to process. Tell the dealers to go to backuppos.uhaul.net

The dealer is using the back up system and calling corporate. However, since the price of my rental was not in my email confirmation ( one way truck and trailer rental) they can't complete nthe transaction.

Uhaul dealer employee here, I had to do one this morning and I just guessed the price. It can be adjusted after the fact. Please understand employees at dealers are not employed by Uhaul and have no way of contacting anyone or anything at Uhaul right now. All servers and phones are down and we are basically in the dark. I guarantee they do not think it's "okay" that your time is wasted. But our hands are completely tied and we are just stuck in the middle with no control over anything in any way whatsoever. I know it sucks. It sucks for us too.
